PHOTOS: Radicalizing Herbalism Workshop!

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to Sunday evening’s radicalizing herbalism workshop with the ladies from Root Medicine. We had a wonderful workshop, and it was great to sit outside in the cool evening breezes. Turns out, the Root Medicine ladies loved us, too! They write:
“We had one of our best workshops yet, with really interesting and dynamic responses to our questions. We had been concerned that our main discussion question “When thinking about a recent interaction with our corporate health care system, what themes or words best describe your experience?” would not be relevant enough in a country afforded free healthcare, but participants defied our more superficial expectations and delved into the inherent oppression in any healthcare system.”
So thank you to Claudia and Meghan for provoking such deep, important, and valuable conversation in our community. It was a truly inspiring experience and we hope these ladies return to Montreal ASAP.
